About CCD
The Punjab Government has established the Crime Control Department (CCD) under the amended Police Ordinance 2002. Headed by Additional IG CCD Sohail Zafar Chatha, this department will investigate major crimes, including:
- Theft, Robbery, Murder
- Abduction, Rape, Harassment
- Land Mafia & High-Profile Cases
Each district will have a CCD station, with three stations in Lahore. The department will soon issue transfer notifications for SSPs, SPs, and DSPs.
